 October USDA Low Food Plan

According to this plan, our family would have a budget of $193.70 per week.  Given our health concerns, we struggle to maintain this budget, but I will try to make this happen.   


Cost-Saving Tip of the Week: When healthier food goes on sale and you can pick up an extra package within your budget→ do it!   This week 1.25lb of frozen salmon is on sale for $5.99.   The non-sale price is $8.99 per package.     I picked up 3 because our family needs to eat more fish in our diet and this item is a regular dinner, thus saving me $3.00 for each package.
