Menu Planning- #138

Our meals need to be nutritious, clean, flexible, quick and cost effective.
Between our work schedules and after school activities, we need to carefully
plan our meals so that we do not end up ordering out.  We try hard to keep our
total food and household products to under $100.00 per week.

Grocery Shopping Tips:
We are having company for the first time since lock down this weekend.
Now, we are doing it safely by having only 2 friends come over, being outside,
and sanitizing everything.     My tip for this week is purchasing fruit based on
price per serving.    My very large watermelon was $4.99 which seems like a
lot, but when you compare it to other fruit based on the number of servings it
will provide, then it clearly is the winner based on price.

Let’s take a look at what we ate this week.
