Free-Bees: June 2023

This year we were able to pick up 140 free items. High inflation and the economy is making finding freebies more challenging. However, I have set a goal to beat last year’s number (247). My goal for 2023 is to find 252 FREE Items, which works out to 21 freebies per month.

As always, I can secure these items through Kroger incentives, Drug Store (Walgreens/CVS) Rewards programs, sales, Pinch Me, Smart Source, Meijer’s sales/store coupons, sample requests, and Rebates Programs (IBOTTA/SavingStar).

June was an extremely busy month and I didn’t have a lot of time to search for deals. The result was finding just 3 items this month. Hopefully, July will be a little better.

My favorite deal this month was the free photo. I hung this framed picture in my bathroom with really elevates its appearance.

For example, this week a whole watermelon was on sale for $3.99 each. When it is cut up, the watermelon will yield at least 20 servings which will place the cost per serving at $0.20. Living Large In the Cheap Seats June- July 2025 I was first introduced to “Living Large In the Cheap Seats” by a college friend, Chris J., who introduced me to lawn tickets for popular bands. We were able to see concerts at a significantly discounted rate. After reading Brokenomics by Dina Gachman, I revised this concept and decided to share it with you.
