Free-Bee: July 2022

So far this year we were able to pick up 154 free items.   With inflation rising, the deals are minimal and hard to come.   We are grateful for everything we are able to pick up, mainly because we are only going to the store when we need a list of items.

As always, I am able to secure these items through Kroger incentives, Drug Store (Walgreens/CVS)  Rewards programs, sales, Pinch Me, Smart Source, Meijer’s Buy 10 get the 11th free sale, and Rebates Programs (IBOTTA/SavingStar).

January (13 items)

My favorite deals this month were all the food items I could secure for my family.   With food prices going up through the roof, it was nice to pick up meat, oat milk, meal starters, meal on the go, drinks,  and a few treats.

I didn’t think I would surpass my July total of 34 items, because I started working full-time again this month. I set my goal for just 20 products and I double it.    This was a great birthday month.    My position is consuming a great deal of time, so my goal for September is 20 items again.

What is your favorite deal this month?

Since March has 4 weeks, our monthly budget is $757.20.   We elevate our dining experiences by including fresh fruits, vegetables, and higher-quality meats.  Since we have health concerns and are active individuals, we limit our processed food choices.    Grocery Shopping Tip:     Utilize your grocery store’s loyalty program. This month, my 2 primary grocery stores have provided me with store coupons for bread, Silk milk, jelly candy, frozen vegetables, and Bali coconut water.  Here is what we did this week to make our week easier: ...
