Free Bees: April 2022

So far this year we were able to pick up 62 free items.  With our current health crisis, the deals are very limited and hard to come.   We are grateful for everything we are able to pick up, especially because we are only going to the store when we need a list of items.

As always, I am able to secure these items through Kroger incentives, Giant Eagle Advantage Program, Drug Store (Walgreens/CVS)  Rewards programs, sales, Pinch Me, Smart Source, Meijer’s Buy 10 get the 11th free sale, and Rebates Programs (IBOTTA/SavingStar).

My favorite deal this month was getting 3 cash coupons ($5, $5, and $8) from Meijer.   Through these coupons, I was able to pick up 4 cans of vegetables, 2 Jars of Chi-Chi Salsa, Carrots, Meijer Tissues, Pepper, Canada Dry Soda x2, Broccoli Crowns, and 8 boxes of pasta.   Wow, that is a total of 20 Items!

In April, I felt the pressure to find more deals.   Inflation is going up so fast and the news is filled with warnings of inflation continuing to rise quickly.   So I set a goal to double my free items in just one month.    Considering that this was a daunting goal and the items that I have found for free have not gone above 13 items per month in the first quarter of the year, I was a little nervous.   However, this month, Meijer Grocery Store has really provided me with the majority of my free items this month.    The have provided excellent sales and free money coupons for several weeks.    In addition, I was given 2 coupons for $10 off of $50 for May.

What is your favorite deal this month?
