2022- Goals

Happy New Year!  It is tradition to evaluate our lives each January and set goals for the new year.  This is normally when people make new years resolutions, but shortly they are soon forgotten.

I find that it is more realistic to identify what you really want in the key areas of your life, such as, finances, relationships, health, etc.     Then get really clear as to what you are willing to do and what you are willing to give up to achieve your goal.   Only then can you create a plan to achieve your goal.    Remember, small changes make a big difference.    If you make a 1% improvement each day for a year, you will be 365% better by the end of the year.   In addition, if you put everything in a positive light with action steps, your goals become much more achievable.

Last year I focused on getting an additional professional certification.  It was a labor-intensive process, but I persevered and finished!  My next step is a 3-year process, so I will be working on the next one a little at a time over the next 3 years.    I have signed up for the first series of classes and started on the mandatory readings.    In addition, I am electronically organizing my lesson plans and will be updating them as I progress over the next 3 years.    These are small steps I can take now to start my journey to the next certification.

Celebration flowers for

Earning my Associate Certification.

In addition, to my professional goals, I have set goals in the key areas of my life.

What goal do you have this year?

Let’s support each other on our personal journeys.

Since March has 4 weeks, our monthly budget is $757.20.   We elevate our dining experiences by including fresh fruits, vegetables, and higher-quality meats.  Since we have health concerns and are active individuals, we limit our processed food choices.    Grocery Shopping Tip:     Utilize your grocery store’s loyalty program. This month, my 2 primary grocery stores have provided me with store coupons for bread, Silk milk, jelly candy, frozen vegetables, and Bali coconut water.  Here is what we did this week to make our week easier: ...
