The Field of Corn is a publicly funded art exhibit in the city of Dublin, Ohio. It consists of 109 corn cobs standing upright in a grassy field set to represent the importance of the corn crop to the development of the state of Ohio.
In addition, there is a small grove of Osage Trees at one end of the grassy knoll.
America continued to work with the corn crop in order to cross-pollinate two distinct varieties of corn in order to produce higher yields, increase resistance to drought and disease.
It also celebrates Dublin’s growth over the past three decades.
What beauty were you able to find in your backyard?
