Living Large- In The Cheap Seats: May 14

Living Large In the Cheap Seats is starting to look a little different given the current state of
crisis the world is experiencing.   The fact that we are being asked to limit our exposure to
groups of people larger than 10 people really impacts our ability to get out and enjoy various
local experiences.   Therefore going out in public is of a low priority in our household for the
time being.   Our governor has extended the stay at home order until May 29th.    However,
we are hoping to change that come late spring/early summer.    Therefore, I am going to
focus on incorporating a little Hagge into my life with a few Small Group (aka family based)
activities, Virtual Activities and things you can do now in order to secure more fun for the
warmer months.   Well- hopefully.

Joy of a Fire Pit- It is amazing that cold fronts are coming down from Canada in the spring,
but we missed it all winter long.    Well, it makes for cool evenings which are perfect for a
fire.    Roast some marshmallows, make some S mores and enjoy the warmth and glow of
the fire.

Yoga Class- We still can’t go out to the gym for a yoga class, but thanks to the internet and
YouTube, the Yoga Class can come to us.    Here are some varying levels of yoga
sessions.

Beginner

Intermediate

Advanced

Embrace Minimalism- Unfortunately we had minimalism thused upon us because our
sump pump failed and we got water in the basement.    A huge trash pile later and we were
significantly downsized.   The wonder is that we really didn’t realize or use the things in
those boxes for 5 years.    Wow- It’s amazing that we could just get rid of so many things
and not really miss them.

Old Movie Double Feature- Each Saturday, we can find old movies on various different
free channels such as ME TV, Vudu or even Youtube.   We make a large bowl of popcorn
and cuddle up under blankets and watch a double feature- Mystery Science 3000 Style.
After a lot of laughter and enjoying Cheesy B movies, we clean up and head to bed.

Cross Stitch- I used to cross stitch a long time ago, so I have many supplies.    I looked for
my supplies and noticed that I had enough to make several Christmas presents.   I got
started and can’t wait to show what I was able to produce.

This month, my 2 primary grocery stores have provided me with store coupons for bread, Silk milk, jelly candy, frozen vegetables, and Bali coconut water.  Here is what we did this week to make our week easier: ...
