Our meals need to be nutritious, clean, flexible, quick and cost effective. Between our work
schedules and after school activities, we need to carefully plan our meals so that we do not end up
ordering out.
What did we spend?
Week 1: (We went on vacation, so when we got home at the end of December we didn’t have
anything in the refrigerator/freezer, so we needed to restock. These 2 shopping trips represent
what we needed for the end of December and the first several days of January.)
Kroger: $51.88
Aldi: $48.91
Rebate: $1.10
Week 2:
Kroger: $15.29
Giant Eagle: $1.50
CVS: $0.27
Rebate: $6.00
TOTAL: $117.82 - 6.10 = 111.72
