Year-Round Tips and Tricks
Tip- I purchase fruit that is in season. In addition, I try to get the lowest price per serving for my fruit. Since we are a family of 3, it is a little easier because more people eat the fruit and it won't go bad.
For Example: For example, I picked up a watermelon the other week for $3.99. That watermelon will yield between 32 and 36 cups. This calculates out to be about $0.13 per serving.
