Free Bees: March 2022

 


So far this year we were able to pick up 23 free items.  With our current health crisis, the deals are very limited and hard to come.   We are grateful for everything we are able to pick up, especially because we are only going to the store when we need a list of items.      


As always, I am able to secure these items through Kroger incentives, Giant Eagle Advantage Program, Drug Store (Walgreens/CVS)  Rewards programs, sales, Pinch Me, Smart Source, Meijer’s Buy 10 get the 11th free sale, and Rebates Programs (IBOTTA/SavingStar).

My favorite deal this month was getting the prints from Walgreens.   I am planning to use these prints either to decorate my home or as gifts this year.  


With inflation remaining increasing each month, we are always looking for a good deal.     Unfortunately, getting free items is getting harder and harder, so sometimes the best bargains may cost a few dollars.  


For example, I was able to pick up 2 Ricotta Containers (30 oz) for $0.50 each.   This product normally retails for $5.49 each, so this product was 91% off.    Each container contains 15 servings and each serving provides 6 grams of protein.    Since meat prices are so inflated, this will provide my family with an alternative meal option.   In addition, Ricotta freezes well, so I am planning on making a few freezer meals.
