Sausage Mc Muffin with Egg ($0.68)



Our mornings are very busy and unless we plan for our breakfast, we resort to
our local fast food restaurant or school cafeteria food.   Both of the alternatives
are quite expensive.


Paying a daily Stupid Tax is not in this mamma's future.   I always have a well
stocked freezer with breakfast items.  Sausage Mc Muffins is one of my
family’s favorites. Let’s check out the process:


Sausage Mc Muffin with Egg ($0.68)


Ingredients:


English Muffins ($1.19 (6 ct) or $0.20 each)
Eggs (Dozen for $0.99 or $0.08 each)
Cheese ($1.79 (16 ct) or $0.11 each)
Sausage (3.99 (14ct) or $0.29 each)


Cost per sandwich = $0.68


McDonald’s Sausage Mc Muffin with Egg cost $3.59
By making it ourselves we save $2.91.  


Instructions:
Toast English Muffins
Microwave Scrambled eggs for 1 minute on high
Put together Mc Muffin Sandwich
Wrap and freeze individually
To Reheat, select one method from below.
-Unwrap and place in microwave for 1 minute at 50% power.  
-Place in refrigerator the night before for a quicker reheat.   
-My son prefers his food at room temperature, so we place his in the
refrigerator the night before to thaw and then place on counter while
he gets ready for his school day.
